Contact Schoeller With the Activity Brief

Identify the movement, climate, layer, construction and next decision so the first response can address selection and evidence rather than send a generic list. You can leave unknown fields open; naming the uncertainty helps the material advisor focus the first review.

Prepare the fabric inquiry

Name the activity, garment or equipment layer, movement pattern, contact zones, expected climate and care cycle. Distinguish the face textile from seams, closures, insulation and the finished system.

Provide known fiber, yarn, weave or knit, GSM, usable width, stretch direction, color, coating or lamination and finish. Explain whether the priority is mobility, abrasion, tear, weather, moisture transfer, air permeability, drying, protection or cost.

For each technical requirement, state the method and endpoint. Hydrostatic head does not qualify a waterproof garment. MVTR values from different methods are not directly comparable. Laboratory abrasion does not predict universal field life.

Label the sample stage and purpose: lab dip, strike-off, handloom, trial yardage, garment prototype or production lot. Identify changed color, backing, finish or lamination so earlier reports can be screened for relevance.

Commercial fields include sample quantity, MOQ boundary, target price basis, incoterm, destination and approval date. Unknown fields may remain open for advisor input.

The response will identify questions answerable from current documents and those requiring a physical sample, method review or garment trial. It is not a certificate, approval, fixed quotation or delivery commitment.
